Easy, Free Traffic!

I have some great information that will help to grow

is about getting free traffic from Squidoo.

Do you Squidoo? If not, you should be.

If you haven't heard, Squidoo is a free site where you
can make a webpage (called a lens) on any topic you
want. It is sort of like MySpace and FaceBook, however
at Squidoo you can advertise freely. Check it out here.

Your lens could be about your online business, affiliate
programs, hobbies, sports, etc. As well, you can create
as many different lenses in as many categories as you
want.

Even if you don't have a website, you can set up a lens
and advertise your affiliate programs.

Now, here's the interesting part. The search engines love
Squidoo pages and many are getting high ranking based
on their keywords. So you not only get traffic from the
Squidoo network by joining groups or visiting other
lenses and leaving a comment on their guestbooks with
a link to your lens, you can also get a lot of free traffic
from the search engines.

The trick here is create your lens on content that will be
useful to your visitors and build it around your topic's
keywords.

The set up is easy once you learn how. You don't need
to know anything about HTML. Just create your free
account, click on "edit", then set up your lens.

Your main material goes in the "Introduction" section.
You can go back and edit at anytime. It is best to
keep it updated.

Squidoo has help topics but I found it much easier and
faster to learn by looking at other people's lenses. But
do not dismiss the help section, there is a lot of great
advice that is very useful after you have your lens
set up, such as how to promote it, the best length
for your lenses, etc.

Here's another great reason to build a Squidoo
lens. Squidoo will pay you royalties! You earn
these when someone clicks on Squidoo's ads
on your lens. They have Google ads, Amazon,
eBay, and other programs all earning commissions
for Squidoo, which they share with you.

These are called "modules", some may not be
visible when you login to your workspace, however
you can click on "Add Modules" at the top to
add more. You can also delete modules that you
don't want on your lens.

Squidoo is such a great concept and a remarkably
easy way to increase your online business. And it's
fun too. You will definitely want to take advantage
of it.
