A new advertising program was recently started that
you can join for free. It works sort of like AdSense.
You can run this new program and AdSense on the
same pages. It's not against Google's Terms Of Service
agreement.
The guy that created this new program took eBay's
affiliate program (which pays out millions to affiliates)
and supposedly made it many times more powerful.
eBay supports this service.
Everyone loves to get a good deal, and eBay has
thousands. So by setting up your Auction Ads with
keywords of items that your website visitors are
interested in, could bring in more income to your site.
Keep in mind that you may not see immediate income
from this. Most will be bidding on the item they want
and that could take a few days to close, however you
are credited with any referrals for up to 30 days.
I think it may work well on my crafts site as many
that post on my forum are always looking for older
patterns and craft books. Some say they lost a bid or
missed out on the bidding and are wondering if there
was any other way to get a copy.
If I had of had the Auction ads on my site at that time,
they might have seen the item they wanted sooner and
got in on the bidding
So this may be something that you could add to your site
(no matter what niche you are in) to help increase revenue.
I'm going to give it a try and will let you know how it goes.
So far I am getting lots of clicks on the Auction Ads on my
websites, but have seen no income from it yet, but to be fair
I have only been running them for a few days.
